Do you think 2.5 to 3 years in prison for the death of Evan Holofcener is a fair punishment?

As someone from Groton, MA, who knew Evan Holofcener, attended his funeral, and knows the pain his family and friends have gone through, I have to say the length of time this woman spends in jail doesn't matter. It won't change anything. People in this town were not disaffected by the news she received such a light sentence. To us, the damage is done, some of us have moved on, and those of us who can't have learned to deal with the daily pain this woman's irresponsible actions of caused. But we do not feel vindictive or vengeful.

I don't really have an opinion on this one, just two comments: 1.) Forgiveness is a precursor to healing. 2.) Her actions were not intentional.

These are easy for me to write, as I am not the parents of Evan. I know they want Justice. I do hope they can find peace somehow, someday.

i don't think that is a long enough time. She should be there for at least 20 years because she took someone's life. She should be held responsible for her actions.

NO WAY,

Eye for and eye is what I say! Because of her negligence Evan loses his life and she spends 2 years of hers in jail. This wrong doing has not been justified.
