Local towns are beginning their fiscal year 2008 budget cycles; all are facing the possibility of overrides or budget cuts. Do you think there is an unfair burden on local property taxes to fund government?

Area towns are facing a budgetary crisis for FY2008. Do you believe the towns should live within their means or would you prefer a taxpayer-approved override to provide more tax revenue for town and school costs?

There are approximately 100 voters in Devens, most all of which would prefer that Devens become its own town. Who do you think should determine the future of Devens, those who live there or voters in Ayer, Harvard and Shirley, the towns from which the land was taken to build Fort Devens?
